Regular bedside practice turns “I think I heard a murmur?” into a confident clinical finding.
For doctors doing MRCP · Trinidad & Tobago
PACES is awkward. We practise anyway.
Structured bedside practice for overworked doctors who would quite like fewer blank stares on exam day.
The PACES Club is a POSGH-based community for Trinidadian doctors preparing for MRCP(UK) PACES. We meet on the wards, examine real patients, present our findings, practise difficult conversations and learn from doctors who have survived the circuit themselves.
It is structured. It is supportive. It is occasionally a little chaotic—in a productive way.
Regular bedside practice turns “I think I heard a murmur?” into a confident clinical finding.
Present cases, defend your differential and stop letting your best answers live only inside your head.
Specific, kind and exam-focused guidance from peers and mentors who understand the process.
Seminars and focused sessions are being built around the parts of PACES that are hardest to practise alone.
A concentrated, in-person practice day combining consultation, communication and clinical examination—without the fluff.
Breaking bad news, managing conflict and saying the awkward thing clearly and compassionately.
It’s about to get hella awkward. 😬Examine. Present. Get interrupted. Try again. Exactly the kind of repetition that makes exam day feel familiar.
Trust your percussion. (Mostly.) 🥁Got a PACES date and a mild sense of dread? Tell us your exam diet, where you’re based and what kind of practice you need.
We’ll keep you in the loop for ward sessions, seminars and the next round of organised clinical chaos.
Complete the short candidate form and we’ll know how best to include you.
Start your PACES era Short form. Zero viva questions. Promise.“I created The PACES Club because this exam is hard enough without trying to figure it all out alone.”
